The Asian humidity environmental chamber is made of cubic shape, there is a high grade stainless steel water tank at the bottom of the chamber, a submerged heater is used in the tank which is used to create humidity. Two wire mesh trays are also installed in the chamber, which are removable, during testing the material samples are kept by the tray. The instrument has a hinged door at the front; The hinged door is equipped with a glass window. The outer body is made of mild steel and is duly powder coated to give it corrosion resistant long life.

There is a control panel that houses a digital humidity controller, a digital temperature, and switches for cooling, heating, humidity, and mains. The cooling is done by the compressor and the heating is done by the heater. Temperature sensor and humidity sensor are fitted within the chamber.
